Kevin addresses city issues

Kevin is a regular attendee of Ontario city council meetings. He has addressed a variety of issues from noise violations, to tripping hazards as a result of overgrown city-planted-trees, illegal occupation of public property, and commercial real estate maintenance.

OPD Captain Ritchie Supports Kevin and his neighbors

Captain Ritchie made the OPD conference room and its audio-visual equipment available to nearby Ontario residents for a quorum with ASM Rodriguez and city staff. Kevin continues to work with Ontario PD to address areas of concern in south Ontario that required additional resources. Neighborhood support resulted in action. An agreement between Ontario PD, the CHP, and Caltrans was forged to provide OPD with the authority to access and oversee the removal of illegal occupants on state property in the 60 Corridor.

ASM Rodriguez supports Kevin’s efforts

Kevin received support from California State Assembly Member Michelle Rodriguez. Secure fencing is scheduled to be erected south of the 60 freeway between Vineyard and Euclid Avenue. Reinforced gates will make state property inaccessible to unauthorized occupants that use this area for a “tent city” and illegally tap into SCE energy sources.

“Due to Kevin’s insistence, lawmaking and law enforcement have met in an effort to create real change in the city of Ontario.”

—Ontario PD, Chief Lorenz
