I believe every Ontario resident deserves safe, well-maintained neighborhoods and responsive leadership. I’ve worked to bring attention to local concerns—from public safety hazards,
to the misuse of public property—and collaborated with law enforcement and state partners to help address the concerns of my neighbors. My commitment is to continue working constructively with my fellow residents and our leadership to ensure the city of Ontario remains safe, clean, accountable.
LIST OF ISSUES
Unhoused Population in Ontario
Since 2022, the number of unhoused citizens in Ontario has risen ____%.
As residents we must ensure these individuals are afforded the available resources needed to lead a productive existence.
Establishing a second homeless center will be
instrumental in combatting the current homeless problem.
Commercial Real Estate
Post pandemic, the owners of several commercial parcels in Ontario have failed to maintain their properties.
This has encouraged vagrancy, theft, and a lack of foot traffic due to fear.
Crime
Kevin will continue supporting Ontario PD in its efforts to decrease crime in Ontario and make it a safer place to live, as well as a valued location for tourists and travelers.
Public Safety
Some citizens of Ontario have found themselves in a rush to work, depositing children at school, or running errands.
This has led to excessive speeds that have caused property damage and person injury.
Economic Development
Kevin would like to see existing businesses receive support that leads to retention, expansion, and financial support for upgrades.
Attracting new businesses to the region, as well as fostering entrepreneurship, will be key in growing a vibrant Ontario economy as the city continues to expand.
